Below you will find the information sent by Culpeper regarding tomorrow's meet!  This is not an easy place to get onto the pool deck for persons with limited mobility and our team area is located on a hill (sloping away from the pool).  There is NO DIVING at this meet...all age groups will start in the water!

All 8 & under girls are now in the meet!!  I have attached the heat sheet and event lists.  Please arrive by 5 PM to give swimmers plenty of time to get ready for our warm-up which starts at 5:20.  

Please let me know if you are planning on attending the Swim A Thon on Friday...it will be directly conflicting with the Town of Mineral Fireman's Parade and therefore getting to the pool will be more difficult than usual.  If we only have a few, we can let them swim during a practice if you would prefer.

The Culpeper Barracudas swim team is pleased to welcome you to a swim meet on Wednesday, July 8.

LOCATION: Our pool is located at 2100 Country Club Rd, Culpeper VA 22701.There is parking available along a long-curved lot from the pool all the way around the pool to the tennis courts. There is parking along the entire curve, including a parking lot down at the tennis court (with a short walk to the pool).
TEAM AREAS: Each team will have a grassy “home base” area for their use. Louisa will have the grassy area located inside the pool venue on the left of the diving board. Your families are also welcome to find space on the pool deck close to your grassy area. Please just be mindful of walkways and the area set up for the clerk of the course. CBST will have the grassy area located inside the pool venue on the right side of the diving board. Please bring towel/blankets and/or chairs for seating in these areas. Feel free to bring umbrellas or tents for shade from the sun. Please ask your families to stay off of the playground equipment, out of the baby pool area, and off of the tennis courts. SPECTATOR VIEWING: We will keep most of the pool deck open for “watch and go” sections. Spectators will be allowed in their team areas and can move onto the pool deck to “watch and go” for their child’s events only. We will also provide a few tables for senior citizen seating/viewing. WARM UP: Our pool will open at 4:30pm. CBST will warm up from 5:00 – 5:20 pm. Louisa will warm up from 5:20—5:40 pm. The meet will start at 6pm. CLERK OF COURSE: We will be calling all events to the clerk of course located on the pool deck in between the teams “home base” areas. MEET HEAT SHEET: Sending as soon as I have it :) FOOD/CONCESSIONS: We have food available at the meet through the Country Club of Culpeper's Snack Shack. Payment can be made with cards. Families are welcome to bring their own snacks and drinks (no glass containers please). Water will be available for volunteers and officials. Please let us know if you have any questions.
